The Next Ada: Graduate Careers at ThoughtWorks

Manchester

Ada Lovelace was a mathematician who is often referred to as the first computer programmer. She helped shape technology of the 19th century and is regarded as one of the figureheads in the history of computing.

As part of a campaign celebrating her 200th anniversary and achievements of women in tech all over the world, we're opening our doors to show the next generation of female technologists what a career in tech might look like. So, if you're studying Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths or you're interested in careers in technology, join us to hear from other women about their experiences, roles and opportunities.

We will have short talks on demystifying different IT roles, personal development and learning, how to make a difference by working on community initiatives, what types of projects and technologies you might experience and finally some useful careers insight. This will be followed by a Q&A session with each of the speakers.

If you'd like to apply for a role at Thoughworks, we're currently hiring for Graduate Developers for 2016 in Manchester and London or if you'd like to speak to our graduate recruiter, Jade, drop her an email at [email protected]
