Technological innovation continues at an exponential rate, but it’s not just devices and apps making things faster, easier, more accessible, or more entertaining. Technology is rewiring the human race. Artificial intelligence and virtual and augmented realities are changing the way we view the world, the way we use technology to tackle our biggest problems and the way we interact with consumers, products, and businesses.

With technology augmenting humanity and the world around us, traditional constraints no longer exist. Like the saying goes, “if you can think it, you can do it.” But just because you can, should you?

This year, ParadigmShift explores the dichotomy between possibility and strategy. Because when anything is possible, how can leaders know what to do, how to start and where to go? How can leaders take their current digital foundation to seize the growth opportunities that exist in the realm of possibility?

ParadigmShift is now wait listing. Add your name now!

Now in its fourth year, ParadigmShift is an invitation-only event hosted by ThoughtWorks. Once a year, we bring together a cultivated group of influencers from around the world: business leaders, technologists, innovators, authors, educators and provocateurs. Through a carefully curated single-track program featuring renowned speakers, interactive workshops and immersive experiences, we explore the complex relationships between business, technology, people and culture.

Attendance at ParadigmShift is limited to 100 guests to allow for richer engagement and more personal connections. Over the course of two days, we aim to upend long-held beliefs, reveal unexpected insights, pique new ideas, and spark spirited conversation that changes the way business is done.

Each year we select a new city as the “guest star” of ParadigmShift. This year we’ll be in Los Angeles. Why L.A.? Los Angeles is emerging as an innovation leader among U.S. cities as they use data and technology to solve complex problems around infrastructure, city services, community relations, entertainment and economic growth.

The LINE Hotel

ParadigmShift will be hosted at Los Angeles’ The LINE Hotel. Located in the bustling Koreatown neighborhood with food and beverage from celebrity chef Roy Choi, The LINE is one of L.A.’s most buzzed-about boutique hotels. This vibrant hotel features floor-to-ceiling views of the Hollywood Hills, locally-inspired décor and all modern amenities.

Signature Event

Join us for a once-in-a-lifetime experience on the Paramount Studios lot. The longest operating studio in Hollywood, Paramount continues to be at the forefront of every major technical development in film, from the advent of motion pictures, to television, through the digital entertainment revolution.

We are excited to announce our partnership with Sundance Institute and a storytelling workshop from their New Frontier program, which supports indie artists that hack and expand the human communication architecture to create a meaningful story.

The power of storytelling - whether it be to create a captivating customer experience or to sell a vision of innovation and enterprise transformation - is a critical skill in today’s business world. The Sundance session will explore the fundamentals of powerful storytelling to demonstrate how to compellingly communicate a message. New Frontier artists understand that story is the code for the operating system of humanity. The stories we craft today through traditional and emerging media will be the reality of our future. See how this community of groundbreaking storytellers is catalyzing the process of imagination to innovation to realization.
